Body type and play-making ability as a safety and return man.

Don't know who Dale Carter is, but EJ is a hell of a playmaker. His move from corner to safety has paid off huge for him and for the team.

I like the kid. Has great open field instincts. My heart sank as soon as I saw that punt drifting towards the middle of the field.

Dale Carter? Really? Carter was an outstanding NFL cornerback who made multiple Pro Bowls as a CB. Eddie Jackson was so bad in coverage that Saban had to move him to safety. The two aren't comparable players at all.

Jackson played very well at CB until he had knee issues. He came back at less than 100% after surgery and was moved to safety. He'll play in the NFL as a safety.

Eddie Jackson tore an ACL and came back too early. He clearly had lost a step and was unable to stay with speed WRs. He has transitioned into an All-American safety and made himself some money. He was a safety in high school and it's his natural position.

Which Bama players do you think are actually good? Beside the backup quarterback, of course.
