The Roughing the kicker call changed that game

They ended up scoring a TD on that drive. Assuming everything would have worked out like it did the rest of the game, we would have won 20-19. They're still the more talented team and we have some problems on the offensive side of the ball but it just occurred to me how big that was

I was sitting on the fifth row on the LSU sideline and the kicker got back to the sideline and laughed with the special teams unit about how big of a flop it was

Impossible. LSU always gets hosed by the refs and their players get wet willies and wedgies in the piles after the whistle. They are Picked on U.

If you are State, Vandy, Kentucky, ArKansas, or even Mississippi you have to beat the refs, too.

It wasn't roughing the kicker, it was running into the kicker. It was the right call.
