Not ready to say he will be better than Kirby Smart for sure, BUT after what we just saw... If he can clean up the deep ball defense. 2011 anyone?

They definitely looked 2011-ish yesterday.

Impressed what we did against the run considering our smaller size.

Our run D last night was almost comical. It seemed USC RB were getting hit behind the line on 95% of their touches. Pass rush was also stupidly good. Some of the coverage by AA was a bit disappointing but it's his first real game experience. The penalty on Minkah was bullshite. The whole D played like a bunch of damn savages.

OSU/Bama coming back to theaters soon

Bama was playing against a pro style offense, which they always shut down. Will have to see how they do against a uptempo spread offense.

Pruitt is a better talent evaluator, and one of the best young defensive minds in the game.
I wouldn't trade Pruitt for anyone at DC.

A slimmed down faster Foster is going to kill someone.

Without a doubt best pass rush we have ever had under Saban, experienced secondary, Reuben Foster is a missile out there - ready to see what we have for sec play but i think if some of these young people step up like they are capable of we could certainly be one of the or the best we have seen under Saban.
We are somewhat lacking in depth relative to last year though.

I found this play by Foster to be just Nuts. Tracking speed to the sideline, and then used that speed to propel into a tomahawk missile and destroyed the RB.

Kirby had a whole lot to do with what we saw yesterday don't forget who has been recruiting and coaching them up. Pruitt looked great but he walked in to a stacked deck.
Just as a side note - I remember someone saying last year that Foster called the plays and Ragland was kind of there in case he needed to change something. If that is the case, I think its a great move which provided a very smooth linebacker transition.

That shite wasn't human. Almost every play like that ends with the LB(or whoever) either diving and wrapping up the legs, tripping the RB, sorta grappling them and running them OOB, or grabbing them and yanking them to the ground.
I guess Reuben doesn't like those options
