ESPN did not design a program just to pick LSU and Tennessee and leave poor Bama out.

No they didn't. They designed it to create as much attention as possible. ESPN didn't have Florida in the picture last year but they got to Atlanta. UT could have a great season. UGA could too..... UF could too, they're loaded with talent. LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss will make a lot of noise and you can never count out the shite storm offenses of Auburn and ATM. With all that said, just like last year, those predictions are made to attract attention. Bama wasn't expected to repeat last year because they didn't have an experienced QB. Experience at QB has never kept a Saban team from getting to Atlanta.

How about Miami's chances of winning the ACC?

0.3%

How is Bama only 13%?

I'd give them a better than 13% chance of winning the NC. Let alone the SEC title.

I think a huge part of it, and what a lot of people are missing, is that Alabama's champ % is being effected by their schedule strength. (I.e. They have to play Tennessee, who is highly regarded by FPI) I'd guess FPI assumes there is a higher likelihood of them losing that game than of lsu losing to UF and Mizzou.
