He'll definitely play vs USC. I can see the QB competition bleeding into week 2. I know this is cliche but who ever handles the pressure and takes care of the ball in the first 2 match ups will be the starter. I'm rooting for Hurts, I would love to have someone who can stretch the field and extend plays with his feet.

Bateman will start. Googled his pic, looks like another typical douche frick alabama QB. Wish him nothing but the worst

If the RB competition is close you're in trouble. Harris looked miserable last year. Mr. Glass can't last the season
i do wish we had that overrated pussy that's on your team. Our 200lb safeties and corners could use him as a tackling dummy in practice

I think Bateman will start and Kiffin will have developed him into a serviceable QB. Another poster mentions that if Bateman keeps the starting position, Barnett may be the backup, but Hurts may would take over in the case Bateman is injured and out for an extended time, or for the year (ok. So the poster alluded to that). Sounds reasonable to me.
