It was bound to happen for one of the QBs but him being number 2 in the spring makes this a little stranger.

Everything I have heard about him makes him seem like a real good kid. Unfortunately his particular skill set just wasn't what we needed at the position with this system.
Someplace that runs the read option fairly often, for example, he might have had a very solid career. I hope he has great success at SMU.
