Valbuena isn't going to get replaced, he's just going to play another position/one of them will DH

I don't think there will be any rush. LV has an ops of .838 and WAR of 1.7. He also just had a 3-run, walk off hr (12th of year) Friday night. Save a year of service time this year since valbuena is being a productive player

Played in both the AA and AAA All-Star games in one season. Yeah, he's kinda good. Glad he was a Tiger.

don't think he's in the AAA all-star game fwiw. he was in the AA all star game (hit a home run) and the MLB futures game (went 3-5). The AAA all-star game I believe is this weekend. Still very impressive

Bregman's #'s show how bad the bats are in college baseball, he wasn't close to those power numbers because the approach has to be different in college baseball, bring bat a better aluminum bat to college baseball.

Bregman has said he was told in college basically not to hit home runs but to hit for contact. I don't know how much that has to do with the bats and how much it had to do with Mainieri's strategy. Whatever the case, it was clear Bregman had power when he was in high school. He hit 14 home runs at a showcase HR derby his senior year.

yeah, there were a bunch of guys on the rosters yesterday that are still in AA ball, Dansby Swanson, for example.
