All I know is, if I'm a UT fan I probably keep my mouth shut about anything or anyone else until this investigation is over. IF we paid every player on our team millions of dollars and gave them lifetime supplies of weed, it would not be in the same ballpark with regards to corruption as what the allegations against UT and Jones are. Obviously nobody here knows what really happened, but there is a chance your coach put a hit on a kid for helping out a rape victim and called the kid a traitor. It's certainly not a sure thing, but there are definitely pieces of evidence that point to that being somewhat true. IF it's false, my apologies to Butch and the administration for believing the slander against them, but if it's true, they all should be put in prison. I'll have no problem explaining to my kids that I was a fan of a team that broke NCAA rules and paid players, since by that time I'm sure all schools will be allowed to pay them. are you ok explaining to any daughters you may have you were rooting for a bunch of rapists and a coach that punished guys who tried to help out the female victims?

Yeah, no shite, rapes bad. But you're ignoring that fact that every single player involved or rumored to be involved with any sexual assault was immediately suspended and punished. How in the world is that a cover-up?

Shut the frick up. Im a UT fan, im going to support UT. Just like you're an OM fan, and youre going to support cheating racists. Everyone is an apologist for their own team. Its how fanhood works.

Nevermind the FACT that every player who was merely accused (not convicted, not indicted, not even charged) of sexual assault was immediately suspended/dismissed. THERE WAS A COVER UP, IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELLS YA.

Have I ever once said I know what's going on at either? I know the NCAA is investigating Ole Miss for cheating so I'd say there's a good reason for us to worry about that. Just like I believe UT being served a Title IX suit that includes allegations of sexual assault against 8 different women and allegations of Butch Jones calling a player who helped the victim a traitor, probably gives them and their fans reason to be concerned that something bad might have happened. Obviously allegations are not facts, but if there is a possibility of it being remotely true you might just want to lay off bashing any other schools or coaches.

It's pretty sketchy at UT. They had the KPD police chief call Jones about the rape accusation before the investigators made it on the scene. Phone records show Jones calling the player after the chief's "courtesy" call.

No one has said he put a hit on him.
The players who allegedly beat up Bowles were Orta and Maggitt, Johnson's roommates and best friends.
Much, much more likely that they were handling things how things get handled where they grow up than CBJ giving them some kind of directive to physically harm him after he had already alerted authorities.
