So who replaces Bo Davis?

Did not see this discussed anywhere. I know its early but any thoughts or indication what Saban may do here?

we have a lot of guys on staff as quality control etc. My guess unless there is someone obvious out there NS will promote from within.

I think Freddie Roach will be promoted. Either as OLBs or DL. Lupoi to DL if Roach coaches OLBs.

How big a loss is Davis? I mean he comes back and we win the natty. Seems like a big loss.

We won a title while he was gone too. He's a tremendous DL coach. He seemed boom or bust as a recruiter.

I'm just really of the opinion that it will be Freddie Roach. He was sent on the road to recruit during the transition from coaches leaving and those being hired back in January.

That would be good. Mizzou doesn't do a lot well, but they produce some disruptive players in the front 7.
Rumors seem to be Rocker or Coach O. Petsonally, I'd prefer O. Players coach and recruiting monster. Plus, he and Kiff would be a fun reunion.
Haven't heard it mentioned, but I think Marion Hobby could be an interesting pick from Clemson. Clemson D has been really good up front under Venables. Hobby has had talent to work with at DE and has developed it well. I think his knowledge of the spread offense could be useful and he he has proven a good DE/DL coach at a couple stops including the NFL.
