I'm gonna assume that you have never been to a more traditional strength gym, right??

Yeah I have. I go to a Planet Fitness now because it is cheap and is less than a mile from my work. I would prefer a traditional gym but I can get a great workout at a Planet Fitness just like anyone that knows anything about working out.

I mean, you can get a decent workout with no weights at all, that's not the issue.

The issue is waiting on one of the very rare, non smith machine benches, or squat racks, and then when you do get to it still not having any 45's. You don't have this problem in a traditional gym.

Plus you have a culture that perpetuates NOT wanting to get big, or "too" cut, and eating pizza in a gym.

There are plenty of benches and plenty of 45's at every Planet Fitness I have been to . The dumbells only go up to 75 though which kind of sucks because I bench strictly with dumbells.

You must have gotten lucky. Both of the ones I have been to had a couple of benches, and a few 45's scattered throughout the gym. Loading up a bar with 35's and 25's just looks ridiculous.

75 is definitely too low. Best gym I went to had dumbbells up to 150 lbs.

The PF I visited, there is no bench, just two smith machines.

Most fat people are that way because of lifestyle choices. They drive up insurance rates and medical costs for the rest of us. Therefore, they deserve to be shamed and ridiculed.

Oh dear God...have y'all ever watched that show about the 600+lb ppl trying to qualify for gastric bypass surgery?

It is NEVER bc they eat enough at each meal to feed a third world country...instead, their massive obesity is everyone else's fault if they are to be believed.

75s are fine for me. I either do weighted dips first then incline with the 75s, pre exhaust first with flys or do super slow controlled reps. They also have plenty of hammer strength machines.
