What if the defense had sucked yesterday?

How much bitching would be going on about Kevin Steele?

it's a spring game... some people need to quit reading so much into it. I wish the offense looked better as well, but the fact the defense is ahead right now isn't a bad thing.

I agree that's it's just a spring game, but struggling to complete passes against walk-ons is pretty telling.

Then again, we didn't need a spring game to tell us about the offensive issues.

I'm not so sure that the defense looked great yesterday as much as the offense looked completely flat and quite frankly, awful.

It's always the same Chicken Little crowd bitching about something. Nothing matters until game 1. By the way, John Franklin is going to be the guy and he's going to do well.

Remember how awesome Cam Newton's A-Day was? Yeah, me neither.

Structurally speaking, the defense should always look better than the offense at this point of the year. The O is still learning the playbook so they run a base for most of it.

Did they look great? Sean White moved the ball against the first team defense with the backup OL and a RB who was not even listed in the program I bought.

I am just glad I got to watch some football.

It reminded me I have to wait till September to watch some more though, so that part sucks.

If anyone was really hoping to glean anything of real worth from what happened yesterday was fooling themselves.

We have talent everywhere on the field and it will be interesting to see if the coaches can take advantage of it or not.

No reason to be negative or overly positive watching ADay.

With that said

The only thing that I took from Saturday.

There is nothing that could have happened on that field Saturday that would have lead to positive posting here and no bitching. Nothing at all

I was just glad to see LB's fill the gaps on running plays......for the most part.

DB's played the bubble screen pretty well.

The tackling was much improved over a few years ago.

Guys were flying to the football.

I don't think we could ask for anything more.

(now, how much of that was because of an anemic O?)
