I have googled quite a bit, but could not find the answer to a question I have. What is the college baseball record for most consecutive wins without a loss by a pitcher from day 1?

Alex Lange was 12-0 his freshman year, and 1-0 so far this year, is why I am curious. Thanks in advance =)

That isn't it. That is just consecutive wins, not from day 1. Sleeth was 10-3 his freshman year, Nielsen was 1-2 his freshman year.

I am hoping the answer ends up being Alex Lange =)

TCU had a freshman go 16-0 a couple years ago, and I doubt that's even the record.

Looks like Purke (TCU) had his first 18 decisions in the W column. So Lange needs at least 6 more to tie. Still work to do =)
