To be fair, that was the 21-12 NIT team, so while still an accomplishment, not quite as great as it sounds. Their 2 losses were to Texas A&M (18-15, no postseason) and Baylor (23-14, NIT).

IMO you've got a decent shot. Bama has nothing to lose and UK is down both Poythress and Willis.

If we play our very best ball game we might have a shot. Outside of that, we don't. We play really hard, and when we shoot well we are a pretty good team, but you guys are much too talented at home for us.

Get on Bill Selfs level, 202-9 in a much much tougher basketball conference.
Before everyone goes crazy, I know the percentage is less, but that number is far more impressive in the Big 12.

Yea, that is wild. Self is severely underrated.

That'd be great if UK didn't routinely have one of the toughest OOC schedules in the country in most years with home and homes with teams like North Carolina, Louisville, etc.

Injuries are making UK very average right now.

Stop giving us false hope we aren't going to win at Rupp we have accepted it

KU has done the exact same thing OOC the last 5 years and plays a much tougher in conference. That argument holds no weight.
I don't think Self is underrated. Good regular season coach, but the tourney doesn't work in his favor. His teams are built for a season not a 6 game tournament where whoever gets hot wins. KU is soft as hell this year. I expect them to get bounced in their typical round of 32 or sweet 16 fashion.
