Repeating my post from the OT Lounge in case some of you don't go there. Stay safe out there SEC!...
Oh boy, here we go again. OT Mets and/or weather gurus, any comments on how bad this could get?
WITH TIME...DMGG WINDS AND THE POTENTIAL FOR TORNADOES WILL
INCREASE AS SHEAR PROFILES UNDERGO FURTHER STRENGTHENING /EFFECTIVE
SRH 300-500+ M2 PER S2/. DESPITE STRENGTHENING FORCING FOR ASCENT
OWING IN PART TO THE ARRIVAL OF STRONGER MID-LEVEL HEIGHT
FALLS...VERY STRONG CROSS-BOUNDARY FLOW AND 70+ KT OF MID-LEVEL FLOW
OVERSPREADING THE WARM SECTOR WILL SUPPORT A CONTINUED RISK FOR
TORNADIC SUPERCELLS --ALONG WITH THE RISK FOR A COUPLE OF STRONG
TORNADOES-- AFTER DARK AS THE SEVERE THREAT SHIFTS EWD.

If there was a set up for tornados along the north gulf, this is about what you'd look for. Waiting to see the high res short term models to see how it will evolve.
Might see BR slip into the moderate risk, the energy will be there. They might need some time to mature, hence the moderate risk currently to our east.
