It is absolutely pathetic. I know they're young, I get that. They're also short, unathletic, and can't shoot. It really amazes me that we have won 8 games. Auburn should be ashamed.

They're horrible.

And if I hear "the freshman are way better than Haith's players" one more time, I will choke someone.

Well I do think Puryear and Phillips are better than the freshman from last year.

Puryear is going to be a solid player.

Phillips is alright. I'm not sold on him yet.

Neither will be able to carry a program even in 3 years.

Both are complements. Neither are foundations.

I like Phillips mentality. His skills just need to match it.

Puryear would be serviceable if we didn't have to rely on him as the man.

I agree. Phillips would really shine with a team around him.

Phillips would be great if he had a team that could actually shoot. He has so many assists that end up just being bricks because his team has shot 3-19 from 3 in a bunch of games.
Walton will be a double figure scorer maybe by next year. But he fits in with Puryear in that he's not THE guy, and won't be.

Maybe if you cherry pick who Haith brought in. Dominique Bull? Then maybe, though I'm not convinced. Jabari Brown? Then you're on crack.

I was just messing with Bass. Haiths transfers are worlds better but the same can't be said for his recruits.

Some interesting tweets from Matter today.
quote:

Anderson mentions all four freshmen as the guys spending extra time shooting - and mentions no one else

quote:

Anderson says extra shooting is better than "being on Twitter or playing video games."

quote:

Kim Anderson: "If you want to blame somebody else, stay home and point fingers, play Xbox and watch TV."

I've mentioned work ethic of the players a few times. It sad that the guys guys that work the hardest are also the youngest. Makes sense that this team is so bad at so many things.

That's what Kim wants you to think.

That's almost as embarrassing as Isabel's mom's whining. Discipline them internally or shut up.

Team is way overdue for someone else to be suspended or booted again.

Isabel has pretty much quit. So there's that.

Most of the team has pretty much quit at this point. At least the ladies team is still ranked and play like they care.

By "almost quit" I mean that he's been indefinitely suspended for practice "attitude."

I guess that's better than suspending someone over how they dress at some post game interview.

Fuller said the same thing about the team last year. Could just be that retuning players just don't put in the work. Could be that KA doesn't know how to develop players.
