Exactly, I wish I could have overheard the conversation b/w him and Jimmy Sexton following his fabrication. Probably went something like,

Rich - "Hello, you got Rich, go ahead."

Jimmy - "What the frick are you doing, Rich?!?! You know damn well Ray didn't offer you that job. Are you trying to make my job harder?"

Rich - "Relax, guy, it will all be ok. frick the Gamecocks. I've been waiting to do something like this sense I worked at clemson."

Jimmy - "No, dumbass, it's not ok! Holy shite, man! Do you realize what you just did to your career?"

Rich - "ah yeah, I look like a returning hero to my AD and fanba...."

Jimmy - "SHUT UP, JU...JUST SHUT THE frick UP!!! NO!! You fricking lied, Rich! You just fricked yourself, Rich. Which AD out there do you think is going to ever want to interview you again, knowing that you made this shite up AND even if it were true you know damn well you shouldn't have gone public with it. Everybody at this level cares about image."

Rich - "Well, I...."

Jimmy - "Well I nothing, Rich, you fricked up, you fricked this up big. How am I supposed to get you raises in the future if I can't get another AD out there to even interview you b/c of the bullshite you made up. You better hope that Zona wants you for the long haul, this type of shite won't fade away."
