Do yourself a favor and watch a series or two with FSU's DL against Clemson's OL.

LINK

I'd say at least half of the time, FSU gets some decent penetration with a DL that isn't close to the same league as Bama. Best of luck in the ship, y'all.

P.S. Thanks to the admins for letting me post. I needed a place besides Reddit to talk about the ship, since, over there this is the matchup of the century and Clemson's OL is a truly great line .

They are WAY too kind over there. Everyone compliments everyone at all times and makes fun of their team. It's a nice change of pace, but it's too much.

FSU is probably the most Bama like team Clemson faced the whole year and Clemson struggled mightily with them, trailed at half, pulled out a close win.

I think Clemson has improved since then though.

Yeah, couldn't agree more. I mostly enjoy the self-deprecation in a postgame thread for say an LSU loss, since it gives me some comic relief to ease the depression.

...although interestingly the self deprecation can reach a crazier extreme on the rant among LSU fans about their team and coach.

I try my best to point out what they say is wrong over there and have gotten my fair share of downvotes.

Wow actually looking at Clemson during that game, it reminds me of our offense.

Tons of screens, play-action passes, rollouts, short passes and runs. Also saw a couple of reverses which we've ran to death this year.

The only difference is Watson is used on designed runs more often than Coker, but that's about it.

It looks really similar, and I'm not seeing the air-raid offense that everyone is talking up. Sure they make some throws downfield, but it isn't anything game-altering.

Oh, now I don't know how the downvote system and all that works. But reading through threads after they've reached 300+ comments is like skipping through a cotton candy forest holding hands with a Care Bear.
