For those of you coming to Nashville for the Music City Bowl, I thought I'd drop a list of some things to catch when you are in the area.

First...The Dave Rawlings Machine (with Gillian Welch) is playing the Ryman on the 29th. Tickets are still available and are only $35 each. They are awesome, and to see them in the Historic Ryman is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Dave Rawlings Machine - Ryman

Second...right around the corner from the Ryman is Jack's...I don't want to get into the Tennessee BBQ vs Texas BBQ argument on here...both are excellent in their own way. Regardless...Jack's is an excellent BBQ joint...Trust me, you won't regret it. Jack's BBQ

If you get some time to travel around Nashville...you might want to check out the Parthenon. It is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Built in 1897, it is an art museum in Centenial Park. Parthenon

The Nashville Predators play the Rangers at the Bridgestone Arena on the 28th...I'm sure most won't get there that early...but if you do, it is a pretty good arena for hockey. Predators Schedule

ETA...thanks for the add.

Hope this helps you enjoy your trip a little more.

Can you take this somewhere else? Not that I'm bitter, or anything like that, but my "friends" bailed, so I will no longer be making the trip.

But in seriousness thank you for the help/suggestions and welcome to the board

Screw them...BNA is a cheap city to fly into because they are a Southwest hub, and there will be plenty of hot women in the bars and honky-tonks on Broadway to make your friends regret bailing on you.

The hot chicken with gravy and biscuits at biscuit love is the best breakfast I've had in a while.
