1 Take the salaries of the coaches you beat and average them.
2. If you lose to a coach paid less than you, reset to that level immediately.

Base salary $2 million. +$250k for each win. -$100 for each loss. +$100 for playing in SECCG, winning SECCG, graduation rates. +$250k CFP. +$500 National champs.

I think you missed some "k"s.
A rigid structure like that will never work. You have to pay for potential.
