Alabama is 13-3 against Auburn when entering the Iron Bowl ranked #1 or #2.
The three times Auburn won? Auburn had a top 5 team as well.
An unranked Auburn team has beaten a ranked Alabama team exactly once (2002). (Unranked Alabama teams have beaten ranked Auburn teams 5 times)

The favored team wins this game over 80% of the time. Pretty bland as far as rivalries go.

As I was saying.
Big Iron Bowl upsets are almost non-existent.
When upsets happen, they tend to be one good team beating another good team.
