How similar was the Miles/Fisher fiasco to the Tuberville/Petrino fiasco?

It was even the coach's former OC at play in both cases. Of course Fisher isn't the douche bag that Petrino is.

Tubs went unbeaten the following year.

Auburn didn't get turned down by Petrino though

Similar. Auburn totally rallied around Tubs pretty soon after that. Will LSU do the same?
The problem was the damage was already done. Auburn replaced the AD and president, but the boosters were still there.

If pictures of a booster's jet at the Tallahassee airport surface, it is exactly the same.

That would be good news for LSU because AU went undefeated the year after jet gate.

This is a bit worse, the Petrino/Tubs deal was conducted behind closed doors and then got out to the public. One of the benefits of dealing with Petrino is he just oozes under the door so shady deals are a second nature to him.

The Miles/Fisher fiasco took place right in front of God and everybody.
