I was told that Mack Rhoades told the team at a players-only meeting today that Hill was the interim coach.

I don't expect Hill to be the interim coach for very long -- coaching search shouldn't take much time -- but Pinkel era is officially over.

Per two sources, quarterbacks coach and associate head coach Andy Hill has been named #Mizzou's interim head coach.
My guess it is to hold the recruits hands.

Hill has been at Mizzou longer than Pinkel, seems like a good continuation plan until the next coach is hired.

Good short-term solution which should stabilize recruiting. This also makes me think Hill may stay on staff, at least in some capacity.

Any new coach will be strongly encouraged to keep Hill.
