How does a fanbase go from wanting nothing but big boy football with a bruising running game to wanting Chip Kelly to come Coach their team in less than one month?

Would anybody have believed this a month ago?

Truly a bipolar fanbase....extremely unstable individuals.

LSU fans are truly the most mentally frail group in college football. They lose 3 games and the world is ending. It is so sad that it is comical.

It's like the Arkansas Petrino-to-Bert transition, but it happened in like 6 days.

Actually the losses have finally given the negatives what they wanted. They have been waiting to see Miles stumble like this bad. It's called tired of seeing ineffective passing game for the past 5 years. These losses are the straw that broke the camel's back.

It's nothing at all like that. When did Les wreck, lie and then admit to having hired his whore in the athletic department?

Yes, because the off-the-field situations are what he was comparing. Come on.

I'm not sure what he was comparing, ours happened in April. So not like it was mid season when we were loving then hating him.

Then we hired JLS for one season. Then finally Bert.

I still don't really see the similarities. Can you explain?

I thought the context made it clear that I was talking about the fanbase transition from zealous advocates of the spread offense to zealous advocates of old man football (or vice versa).

At the end of the day we are sick of the shitty Miles offense.

Same shite over and over over again.

If we get Kelly shite would be insane.

As opposite on the spectrum as you can get.

No chance that finesse spread shite can win in the SEC.

Maybe it's because I haven't had my coffee but no I didn't get that. Personally, I'd say Petrino ran more of a pro style offense when he was here. Regardless, our offense is again great in no way clunking around like LSU's.

This. They convinced themselves their mighty OL was gonna push Bama's front 7 around all night and were disappointed. Now the Jimbo Fisher/Chip Kelly stuff is them setting themselves up, like they always do, for extreme disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I could see Fisher or Kelly going to LSU, but as of me typing this it feels like they're hoping more than believing.

I've also never seen a fanbase completely turn on kids and bash them for going to other schools. They're the one fanbase that seriously doesn't understand that "committing" in recruitment is literal.

They complain about refs all the time, they're 10000% sure refs screw them.

There is a topic over on the Tiger Rant right now about Verne supposedly being biased against them.

I've never seen a more insecure, paranoid fanbase. And I'm not bashing them, I'm not. Some of my favorite posters here are SEC posters (I see you hg and GCTiger). I'm merely saying all of these things to point out that you're right, they seem very unstable, and I wish they wouldn't do that to themselves.

They brought this on themselves. Ran roughshod over some epically bad D's early and spewed more shite all over the rant. I even posted how comical the crash was going to be....and I never imagined it could be this fun.

I've never seen anything like it before. I wonder if the insecurity issues stem from their not having a legitimate rival. All alone, with no one to love.
