Bama 8-11 from 3... don't expect to see this that often but 4-11 is better than we're used to

There it is!! #Alabama has scored 100 pts for the 1st time since 11/18/13 vs. Stillman. First time vs. D-I foe since 12/27/05 vs Jackson St.

Problem is they needed 14 3s to beat ULL. Doesn't bode well for the real competition.

ULL is supposed to be a good team. Picked to win the Sunbelt.

They were favored in the game

ULL was predicted to win their conference and has a projected 1st round pick at center.

I'd be at least a bit optimistic after that. Miami looks like a top 15 team and you guys outplayed them more in the first half than they did.

Hell I would have taken it over some scrub team after how inept we looked against Dayton.

It's encouraging until you look at the rest of our non conference schedule. It's ridiculously difficult. Xavier, Wichita State, Clemson, and Southern Miss on the road with home games against Oregon and Winthrop. Only 2 lay ups to go along with those games. Will be a miracle if we finish the non conference schedule with a .500 record.

The last two games are probably indicative of the type of year Bama will have. We've got a very young team with a new coach that wants to go up tempo. When they're on, it will be a lot of fun. When they are not, it is going to be very ugly.
