This is dumb. There's this thing called a player. Multiple players make up a team. These players change every year. Comparing stats from one year to another is useless.

The TL/DR version of the OP:

MSU, Auburn, and Florida's offenses this year are drastically worse than a year ago, or had to have a backup QB thrust into the starting role just 4 days before the contest.

I think that's the point.

No. It's a clear Chavis troll job. The hook is too shiny.

Florida was better with Treon in 2015 than Driskel in 2014.

I mean, the DBs look weaker this year in my opinion. Is it a simultaneous Chavis and Steele troll? Or is it just comparing the year over year difference of LSU's defense against the same opponents?

I think Auburn downgraded at QB a little bit...

So your run defense is better and your pass defense is about the same. Congrats?

LSU had T. White, Jalen Collins, Rashard Robinson, Jalen Mills and a healthy Dwayne Thomas at this time last year.
Jalen Collins is now in the NFL, R. Robinson was dismissed, J. Mills got hurt and Dwayne Thomas is finally looking like his old self after his injury from last year.

The OP does remind me of just how bad LSU was on defense early in the year. There is no excuse for how bad we were and that falls directly on the short, fat, native-american with the smelly-looking mustache.

Auburn and MSU both let off the gas in the fourth quarter if you remember.

Auburn and State are a lot worse this year, while you guys are a lot better.
I would hope that your stats would have improved against those teams.

The one team that improved with you from last year to this year (florida), put up more yards and points on you this year.
However, you guys looked great against the run and won by a wider margin which tells me your offense got better too.

Other than that, I think this post was rather pointless considering roster turnover.

I realize a lot of this had to do with starting Welter instead of Beckwith at middle linebacker in September.

Mother of God we were getting gashed big time last September.

Here's what The Advocate had to say on October 7 of last year:
quote:

The personnel switch at the most important position on LSU’s defense may not be a miracle cure for a unit suffering through one of its worst seasons in the past decade.

If posted this on the Tiger Rant it would just be another topic for discussion. But here it's assumed it must be a troll.
