As an Auburn fan I am excited, as a Falcons fan I am scared.

I'm still convinced the following players are out of position

Ricardo Louis WR -> Safety
Rudy Ford Safety -> RB
Kerryon Johnson RB -> RB/WR
Jason Smith WR -> QB
Mike Horton OT -> DT (we just need depth)
Byron Cowart SDE -> 250LB DE/Buck
Devonte Lamber SDE -> Left Bench

??Nick Ruffin/S. Roberts S -> CB

Chizik was the absolute worst coach at putting players where they belonged.

Rudy Ford Safety -> RB
Rudy Ford, outside of the LSU game, has been really good at safety.

He's already in the two deep at tackle. He will likely replace Avery Young next year.

Devonte Lamber SDE -> Left Bench
Defensive tackle, IMO. He's gotten bigger. His knee injury also hurt his quickness.

S. Roberts S -> CB
Bench.

The added weight has killed Cowarts ability to maintain an edge. He needs to move inside next year and play like Nkemdeichi did against bama

Kerryon Johnson was a beast at safety in the UA all star game. He could be a 4* prospect easily on either side of the ball.

@knoxbardeen: #Falcons ask their FS to play deep CF a lot. Fill-in Robenson Therezie scored a 1.4 pass-coverage grade from @PFF. Solid work for the UDFA

I'm not sure how Muschamp's defense works, but 3-4 DEs are not typically setting the hard edge like in a 4-3. The weak-side DE does have more responsibility in that department if you're bringing pressure from the strong side. OLBs are normally the "edge setter", so the weight issue is likely not hindering his play.

Although, like I said, I do not have a great understanding of Muschamp's defense, and I haven't watched enough of AU to figure the schemes out. That's just based on typical 3-4 play along with watching how Mason's operates.
