Can ESPN stop pushing their made up stats?

Tennessee ranks 15th in FPI. Arkansas is 23.

Oh and QBR is still a joke too.

As I have pointed out many times... recruiting rankings are a major piece of the FPI formula and they do not phase it out as the season goes on.

I understand using recruiting rankings for early FPI numbers before there is enough games played to give a large enough sample size, but once games are actually played they need to be phased out. FPI doesn't do that.

So a team that recruits well and plays like shite will have an inflated ranking.
