That's the problem, we can't run the ball. Our Oline is playing like a bunch of pussy's, they can't even move ULM's Dline.

That ULM defense is so nasty. Hopefully Kiffen can fool them enough with clever pass plays if Bama can have a chance to move the ball

It's time for Freshwater to go. I've seen enough of this shotgun snap on short yardage. I'm not sure Kiffin understands the basic rudiments of the run game - or cares.

Bama is trying to still be an spread up tempo team with a average Qb .Were talking about an offense that ask the qb to make 30-40 plays per game with his arm, adjustments, up tempo that Coker is way to slow for..

Combined with lack of size in the wr core..

Like an ole miss most teams with good db's will risk man coverage to load box to stop henry..

Rather than take a page from lsu this year.
Who also tried last year to play spread with fornette and ask there average Qb to make plays..

They now know it's much better to shrink field and play more pro set..(2 wr's).Which makes the running game more affective and brings play action into play.

By asking teams to cover there 6-2 to 6-3 over 200 pounds wr;s..combined with fornette

That means that any safety that supports the run gives up man on TE and or one of the WR's.

Like with a fornette..Bama should play 2wr with Henry..What's the advantage of having a Henry if your still trying to have 4 wr sets..

One last thing # 13 is not an outside Wide side receiver..
He is made more for the slot..
He not a deep ball wr as he does not play the ball well over the top shoulder catches.
Does not adjust to the ball well enough..
He is a catch & run wr..He is suited more for the slot..

I would ask ridgley to run all the deep stuff..
I would also after his suspension allow Bo to play some wr..I also believe would play
Deionte Thompson WR FR 6-2/183.

Again bamma needs more size at wr, when teams dare them to beat man for man match ups.

Saban basically admitted on the call in show that offenses are too complicated to shut down now so Bama has to outscore teams to win. I still think Bama could controll games better running the ball

What is sad is that Jake Coker is a grown f'ing man and has to have Derrick Henry console him after an INT.

This offense is setting our players up for failure. It really reminds me of the 2007 offense... and I know that's probably not the best comparison in the middle of a game against ULM.

Our offense is not a total meltdown.

Bateman should have started this ULM game, imo. Not the OM game when you have only had very few snaps.

i watch this very offense keep thinking. if we just had an average game manager at qb, we'd give the great defense some help. if our offense was helping this d, we'd be in fantastic shape. but hey, this is not a roadgrader o line. nope this is just your run of the mill zone miss most blocks o line we are stuck with

The O line is the main problem. Not much pass protection and no push to run the ball effectively. I think that kinda makes the QB situation worse because its putting more and more pressure on the QB to make the play. Blake Sims really masked alot of the O line problems last year with his feet. They havent gotten ANY better and this year its showing. Cristobal needs a new job. Great recruiter but evidently not a good O line coach.

I bet Cristobal would make a stellar special teams / TE coach.

Bateman has no balls. Dude was too scared to pull it when he could've had some easy runs for a 1st. I'm all for someone with skill to pull off the scheme but if you're gonna be a coward gtfo

Dude looked straight up scared
