Ok....on to our opponent to start season. We wont know jack after playing NMS because of the lack of quality players or depth. NMS went 2-10 last year...they return prolific passing qb Tyler Rogers and best wr with 75 catches, Teldrick Morgan. Rogers threw 23 interceptions last year and we should get him off to a good start to break that record.
Larry Rose is a 1,100 yd rusher. Their defense returns top 4 tacklers but they allowed huge yardage and scores.

No matter how good Grier or Harris look...this is just a scrimmage....but good practice against 11 players trying to stop you.

I think 66-13 sounds right.

Their DL is tiny, like UF is about 70 pounds bigger on the average on the OL, and should trample them. UF should have over 300 yards rushing easy in this one.

Their OL is decent, by small school standards, so they might be able to move the ball a bit, but the game should not be remotely close, UF is just simply better at every position.

I'm saying 56-7 with a healthy QB rotation and a lot of turnovers forced.

Just pray for no injuries.

Score doesn't matter, as long as we win. We won 11 games while beating BG only 27-14 in the 2012 opener.

Win and no injuries should be the goal.

McElwain is saying coach speak, but if its not Grier I'll be shocked.

I think Grier will start, but i think both will get plenty of time. I think it will be 56-3. I just hope we see different formations. Maybe try getting the tight-ends the ball. Also stay healthy.

Yeah, I think Grier has a healthy lead over Treon. They will both play, but I think it will take Grier sucking balls or Treon playing out of his mind to unseat him.

I don't know about you, but I'm fricking sick and tired of Muschamp ball. I'm ready to hammer scrub teams and beat the shite out of SEC rivals. I do care about the score. I want an extremely boring season because we beat the brakes off every team we play against. Win, and win convincingly is what I want. I hope Mac can bring that attitude and swagger back to the program and the fanbase. I'm ready for 56-3 and 49-13 to be normal again when we play against inferior teams.

Yeah I'd like that too, but the priority is win and no injuries.

Blowing a team out is just icing on the cake.

As long as no one gets hurt 28-13 is as good as 55-7.

No it's not because I want our starters out in the 4th quarter. Something that rarely happened when all your games are defensive battles.

I put 200 on the point spread honestly. I think we run them off the field.

I saw where New Mexico State only gave up 9 sacks all year in 2014 and have four starters returning on the OL...wow, we will see how good our pass rush is....they throw quick short passes of course (thats why the 23 picks and 9 sacks is a result )

Difficult to pressure qb who gets rid of the ball in 1-2 seconds. Im sure DL coach Rumph is telling everyone to get your hands in the air to bat down throws....and our secondary will play tight azz coverage...but bubble screens are hard to stop...just need to limit YAC. The motion guy will usually be the screen guy cause the secondary cant get behiond the line to jam him and the other receivers will do their best to block our DBs. They may throw 55 times or more...should be fun to watch.

Did you look at the weather forecast? Could be an issue with the point spread.
