I don't know about that as freshmen, but we will have a rock solid rotation going with all of our DTs. I like where we are with our entire DL.

How about we let the guy actually play a down first?
He looks the part but he hasn't played a down yet.

Terry Beckner might have something to say about who's the best.

He is inhumanly strong and was born into football with a NFL father.
Yes, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Some other freshman is going to bring the Payne.

I actually think, speaking solely to this year, that our strength on the D-line is on the exterior. (Comparatively. I think our DLine is one of our strengths in general)
Barnett and Maggitt were huge contributors coming off the edge for us last year, both of which are returning. As good as Mckenzie and Tuttle seem to be potential wise, we also are welcoming Kyle Phillips into the DE rotation who has reportedly been playing very well in camp.
I just think DT is such a physical/developmental position, it usually takes a little longer to get in proper shape and be able to grind against quality SEC lines in the trenches for all 4 quarters. So with that in mind it may take these Frosh DT's a year or two to really be considered Best interior DL in the SEC, because if you've earned that title it historically indicates you have some real special players on the interior line.
EDIT: Also some people may not know or may have forgotten McKenzie had to forgo his SR season in High School. I am as high on him as anyone, but it's been a while since he's seen real game action. It helps that we have some seniority/depth at the DT position now so he's not forced to shoulder an unrealistic number of snaps.

I think he should play a down first.
They have the best DE's in the SEC
But freshman need to prove it. I think he will be a stud though, but has to do it on Saturday.

I've never seen so much hype for freshman DTs. Let's see what happens when they get punched in the mouth before proclaiming them all-world.

Kahlil McKenzie and Shy Tuttle (our other true frosh DT) have the potential to be Haynesworth and Henderson 2.0 but they still have to live up to it.
KMAC though is unlike any true frosh DT I've ever seen. I think they will both live up to it but I don't know that I would say KMAC is the best just yet. He's gotta prove that and I do expect a learning curve even with him.

Florida had a lot of hype around Floyd and Easley coming in. They certainly lived up to it. But not their first year. Powell didn't however.
