See, it's pretending.

If you wanted a true hot dog sandwich, it would be a frankfurter between two pieces of bread sliced flat on the middle sides. I could easily do that. What would you call it besides just a hot dog sandwich. That's how 'sandwich' is actually used. A 'hot dog' is its own distinct thing.

New England style is based off an original which was derived off a folded piece of bread.

But the "fold" is what's uncategorizing this in the argument. It has to be sandwiched between, not folded I guess.

Maybe I'm about to swap sides here..

Folded between 1 piece of bread will never = sandwiched between 2 pieces of bread.
