As I posted on the Rant, I grew up listening to Doug and John Forney. They were the voices of God when it came to Bama. RIP and Roll Tide.

oh man 
back in te day, me n some friends would load up a few cases and head down to the tn river on football saturdays to listen to the broadcast of bama football. i like eli, but they just aint nuthin better than a good ol southern voice and bama football. to this day i get to hankerin to hear doug n john n i go searching on youtube to get my fix

Interesting quote form the article...Jerry Duncan gives Doug Layton credit for the "I could drop (Smokey) from here" line. Everyone always seems to credit Duncan with that line.
