This board is dead, let's bring it back to life. My wife is retiring in 3 weeks after 29 years of teaching. I'm so happy for her and she deserves it.
Our lives have been so tied to work, we haven't done things for fun, so I am looking forward to that. We are going to probably get season tickets to the Lady Cats basketball, and while I don't have football season tickets, plan to start going to a couple of away games each year. I've only been to one game at Vandy and one at UT. I want to visit all the SEC towns.

I've been pretty inundated with school and work myself. Just kind of been stepping back a bit. Have had some interesting requests to join the board.
Following baseball when I can via TV/Radio. And enjoying the UofL fans melting when Cal signs a new contract.

Testing started today and my wife is already like "I can't do this one more year".

We start Friday. At this point I'm just ready for this year to be over with. It's probably been my toughest since I've been in education.

A friend of my wife's told her a few years ago to "retire with a class you enjoy". She was lucky, this has been a challenging year, but she has had a lot of fun with her class, so it really worked our well for her.
I would not go into teaching for all the money in the world after being married to one.

I think my issue right now is I'm ready for a change of scenery. I've been in the same school for 8 years, through multiple administration (it's a PLA school) and I'm ready to move somewhere with some different challenges.

Pretty sure Batesville, but he can correct if I am wrong. Not sure he knows Transy has same mascot.
