So Freeman tried to stay ready, using "reputation on the line" to help keep him going. He even had ROTL put on clothes.

"It was very frustrating, very frustrating," Freeman told reporters at the Roughriders' training camp before the preseason game. "But my reputation's on the line. That was the motivational phrase I used for myself to keep myself going, to keep myself preparing for this opportunity. I worked out constantly on my own. Prepared myself on my own. Worked two jobs, but in the early morning, I would just work out, run stations, run sprints, just preparing myself for the opportunity, and thank God He presented it to me."

Man that stinks. Nobody has bigger heart than him. Hope everything works out for him.

Didn't Freeman play with the Ravens when they won the Superbowl?

Freeman was never going to play in the NFL, he always seemed out of position in college with a simplified system. he would never learn an NFL playbook.

I hate that for him, he's one of my favorite Auburn players of the recent era. A lot of natural ability but he just couldn't get the mental aspect of the game.
