They currently sit at 28-24 (14-13). Currently T6 in the SEC with OM and both have the same overall record. RPI is currently 52. 3 games left at home against UK.

I think they need 2 more wins to make the tourney. Whether it's 2 against UK or 1 against UK and 1 in the tourney. That would put them at 30-27 or 30-26 depending on where the 2nd win comes and 16-15 or 16-16 in conference including the tourney games. It would also mean they probably finish 6th or 7th in the SEC with LSU/A&M/Vandy/UF/Arky and maybe OM ahead of them. I'm thinking that might sneak them in. Would the SEC only get 5 or 6 teams in the tourney? What is the fewest number of teams to make the NCAA tourney from the SEC?

OM fans, I suppose the same question could be posed for you guys. What's it going to take for y'all to make the tourney?

Definitely win the series this weekend. And probably win a game or two in Hoover to feel safe.

Have to win at least two this weekend. 16 wins in the SEC and at least one in the tourney should get them in.

Sweep this weekend and I think it's pretty definite.

Steal LSU's uniforms and speak in a Cajun accent.

Sounds like they have to win the series AND win one in the tourney. Nothing like letting things slip away from ya.

Win 2 this weekend and you should be in. 16 wins in this conference will get you in.

They would first have to invent time travel so they can go back in time a couple of months and win a few of the games they lost.

I think you need to beat UK and then win 1 in Hoover.

Mizzou has some real chinks in the armor.
-2 losses to 200+ teams.
-.333 win% vs the top 50.
-Losing record ah home and on the road. (that's impressive)

Follow up on this question.

What if they play no games this weekend and all Mizzou has is the SEC tourney left? Looks like lots of rain in COMO.

Missouri has got to fix that RPI problem (which was caused by the midweek losses). Missouri needs some more wins, but probably more than that, it needs to avoid any more losses. If Missouri just plays one or two games this weekend, but wins whatever they play, then a couple of wins at Hoover might do the trick, but going 0-1 or 1-2 at the tournament would probably still seem them in the 50s of the RPI. That's not going to cut it for an SEC team.

Mizzou and UK are in an elimination series
I think winner of that series is in no matter what happens in Hoover but it's always good to stay alive there as long as you can.

Rainouts are going to hurt. You need the wins. 27 isn't going to cut it.
