I finished watching what I missed from the tv broadcast.

K Griffen has been given some crap b/c of his weight, but he was making a lot of plays, TFL's and had a Sack.

BAW missed two big tackles, but he was all over the place and his instincts put him in position to make those plays.

Harris Jr had a rsally good game, several pass breakups.

Darius English played like a guy with his job on the line. Getting him to add and keep hood weight has been a battle, but he looked like a SC DE out there with 2 TFL's and a Sack.

Scarnechia had a really good 2nd half, especially the last TD drive. H missed Deebo on a TD earlier 8n the game, but you could tell he wasore comfortable in the 2nd half.

Our OL played SOOO much better than I thought they would've with 3 starters out. Stanley was worn out by the end of the game, but the same 5 OL were playing for both teams.

Our LB corp is going to be really stong. Skai, BAW and Walton were active, but BAW and Walton were in on many of the tackles.

I like the new punter from FAU, Kelly. He had good distance on his punts, better than what Hull did last year. I still think Charlton is going to come in and win that job.

KC Crosby had an excellent game, especially the 2nd half. He has really good hands and hot open much more than he was even thrown to.

Terry Googer is a legit RZ target, he caught the winnging TD on a little 3 yd slant route where hile used his 6'4" 227 lb frame to completly shield out the DB.

Jasper Sasser was the POTG for the defense

Jasper Sasser was the POTG for the defense, 2 INT's and one was a Sportcenter worthy diving INT on man coverage.

I am looking forard for us to run some double TE sets, Crosby and Adams are legit targets and both had at least 1 play where the blew up the LB to allow the RB to sneak through to the 2nd level.

The biggest surpise was Carlton Heard, SR WR transfer/walkon. He was making great catches and even got flagged for an unsportsmanlike call. Had he not dropped that pass on 3rd and 2 where BAW lit him up, he wouldve had a damn near perfect game. He is going to play next season and I wouldnt be surpised to see ESPN talk about, "SC walk on WR with a huge play, incredible catch," once the season starts. He is going to surprise some defenses.

I feel better about the team for next season after this scrimmage.
1. We can rush the passer again.
2. The DB's play tighter man coverage, but arent letting guys beat them deep. Although, on the last drive they were playing prevent defense and Scarnecchia marched 94 yards down the field.
3. We have a fistful of WR's with good hands, but a couple of them need to get faster.
4. The young OL looked good and should provide depth. They got over 1200 reps this spring while the projected starters were healing.
5. I'll say it, Mitch is better than Thompson. He just looked really poised and focused, plus he was more accurate than aThompson was this time last year. I think Mitch is going to break Thompson's passing tecord this year.

I didnt like the announcers for our game, they seemed uninformed, one clown called it Brice Williams Stadium, and the other guy said we hadnt had an explosive WR in a long time...as if he didnt see Cooper earn All SEC last year as a Soph or Bruce Ellington in '13, or Ace Sanders in '12. Lol
