Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, and Taylor Kitsch all starring. Going to be hard to top that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson combo, but it looks like it could be pretty good.
Plot synopsis was released too:

No way it can top season one. McConaughey and Harrelson are amazing actors when they're cast in good roles. I just don't see how it can be done.

Yeah the teaser is dog shite but the synopsis sounds pretty interesting.

Season one will be incredibly hard to top.
I don't think I've been on the edge of my seat over a T.V show the way I was over season 1 and Carcosa/The Yellow King.
Looking forward to it though

I loved TD, very much enjoyed it and looking forward to 2. Have you seen bloodline? From the first minute to the last it's not quite as suspenseful as TD was, which seemed to hook you right from the start. But the last 3 or 4 episodes of BL were just incredible. Maybe more suspenseful than TD.

Starting Bloodline today.
I NEVER buy TV shows on dvd. But I did for true detective. I've watched it 3 times through since. Never loses a step, just because ill isn't writing and cinematography. May have the best intro of any show, too

I haven't, but the forecast up here is rain and then more rain. Perfect time for some binge watching.

It's going to rain for a week straight around the gulf coast. My work basically told me to take a vacation for a week. So I'll have to catch up on bloodline.

I think you and durden will really like BL is you like TD. I'm excited for yall, I'd be interested in reading a thread updating your thoughts throughout.
The pace is somewhat similar to TD. The big knock a lot of people have on it was the it started really slow, but I don't think that hurt the show. Also be aware that the first couple episodes out of the gate are a bit slower than the rest. Which should be natural anyway, considering they want to lay some ground work. But I PROMISE you if you watch the whole season (which isn't daunting since it's only 1 season and like 13 episodes) you won't regret it in the end. It really takes off quick towards the second half of the season.

First and foremost, thanks for making the suggestion -- I've went ahead and told my wife to get ready for the new show tonight. We are looking forward to it . I thought TD started some what slow to begin with before gradually consuming your mind. So, I don't mind the slow starts as long as they pick up.
Where do you guys watch it from?

So, are all the different seasons of TD supposed to come together in the final season?

BL is awesome but i didnt care for it until around Ep 4. You have to give it time to take off. But when it does its a hell of a ride.
