"Tyler Queen went live," Malzahn said. "He liked it, and he did some good things, too."

Malzahn likes to test his quarterbacks live in at least one scrimmage to see how they handle true pressure. White went through a live practice during Auburn's Outback Bowl practices, and it was Queen's turn to wear blue.

Good to hear. Was worried he might not even play college ball after he injured his arm.

I think the underlying question here is this.. "How tall is Tyler Queen?"

Tyler went to North Cobb HS, where two of our kids graduated. Coaches son and a good QB. Not nearly on the level of JJ or Sean even in potential. Sort of surprised he wound up at Auburn cause I dont think he will ever see the field much.

Dude is built like freddie kitchens.

I've coached against his dad in track, he's a big boy himself.

Yes he is. I wish Tyler only the best of luck, but it was a curious match. Gus and Lashlee must see something there they can work with. In any case, War Eagle. Lets see what happens!

Not saying he ever wins a Heisman, but I think he will do just fine. Knows a lot about the QB position, and about leadership. He is like having an extra coach out there.
