28 NFL teams represented at the Gamecock Pro Day today.

There are 17 draft eligible Gamecocks this year. Rory Anderson, Damiere Byrd, A.J. Cann, Ryland Culbertson, Mike Davis, Patrick Fish, Cody Gibson, Sharrod Golightly, Tyler Hull, Nick Jones, Kadetrix Marcus, Connor McLaurin, Sidney Rhodes, Corey Robinson, J.T. Surratt, Dylan Thompson, and Brison Williams.

Cann, Robinson, Davis are locks to get drafted, IMO
Surratt and Busta have decent chances to get drafted, IMO
Byrd just launched himself into the spotlight, and may now get drafted but is a lock to get at least a FA deal, IMO
Nick Jones might get some calls for a private workout as well as Golightly, they had a good Pro Day.
I think Thompson might get a Practice Squad invite, along with Brison WIlliams.

Damiere with a 4.25 40 yd, 42 inch vertical, 10'11" broad jump, 13x bench at 225lbs. Oh yeah, he helped himself HUGE at this Pro Day.

Here's a link to some of the player interviews

Dylan Thompson 4.68

Mike Davis 2nd time 4.46 4.38 on the fist attempt (unofficial)

Nick Jones 2nd time 4.38 (not sure about first) Officially it was marked as 4.41, which is still really fast.

Corey Robinson 6-6 319 2nd time 5.25

Surratt 6-1 305 2nd time 4.90

Dylan Thompson 2nd time 4.53 (unofficial)

Brison Williams 4.47

Cann put up 30 reps of 225, better than what he did at the Combine.

Over the past 5 NFL drafts, @GamecockFB has had 6 defensive ends drafted, 2 more than any other school in the SEC. #SCProDay

I think Byrd struggled this year because of the ACL tear he suffered during bowl practice last year. Usually takes a full year to get back to 100%

Glad to see he hasn't lost a step

Dylan threw 40 passes during drills and completed all 40 to a variety of receivers on multiple routes. His official 40 time came in at 4.68, which was under his 4.7 goal.

Surratt rep'd 225 lbs 33 times, bettering his Combine #.

Mike Davis had a 35 1/2 inch vertial, bettering his Combine #.

Guessing a couple receivers routes went into the stands

So Byrd's Pro Day went pretty well obviously. The Eagles just called him to come up to a private workout on Wednesday. I'm beginning to think that Pro Day just might have been good enough that he many now be drafted.

Also, Dylan got a call to go workout for the Panthers and Dylan asked Byrd if he would catch for him during the workout.
