Why didn't we go for two against Bama?

Kind of random, but I've been wondering what the reasoning behind the staff not going for it was. Both teams were having troubles on offense, and that one extra point from the PAT didn't really do much for us. If we don't get it, we can still win with a field goal (assuming Bama scores another touchdown), and if we do then it's tied up.

You never go for 2 before the 4th quarter in a close game. You don't want to end up chasing points you don't need.
