Gators, seems Billy not only is calling out his players, but the support.

“The one thing I always admired about Kentucky when I was there, you have a coach preaching about winning, that whole state is preaching about winning. And that’s what the program’s about. It’s about excellence, it’s about high standards, it’s about championships. We’ve tried to, since I’ve been here, at least try to create that kind of mentality and chase those things, and this has been a team this year that going like it is, winning has been secondary, and that’s why we’re 12-11.”

Thoughts?

I don't get the sense that he is calling out support.

He's been calling out his players for weeks now.

Brings up the whole state of Kentucky is preaching winning..I think that is somewhat a shot of lack of support from the Gator base.

Yea, maybe, but even he doesn't expect the State of Florida or even the Florida fanbase to treat basketball like Kentucky does. I don't know, I just didn't get that sort of vibe from it.

Pipe down, I just saw his remarks, curious what the Gators think of them.

That seems like a bit of a stretch.

Florida fans are fair weather and generally suck at every aspect of life. The city of Gainesville needs a napalm strike in the worst way, just leave a smoldering pile of rubble where that douchebag infested shithole used to be.

UF is not my favorite team, is what I'm trying to say here.

No fan base is as crazy as Kentucky basketball. I don't think he's expecting Florida to jump off that bridge.

Ky folks are fricking nuts. It's great. It's like Bama football fans if they were mostly positigers and not murderous, bat-shite-crazy animals (no offense Bama fans. I like my trees/unmolested face). I very much enjoy our weirdos.

Did you not watch the game last night? The O'Dome was rocking.

UF easily has the best bball atmosphere & biggest home court advantage in tSEC. Our student section is one of the best in the whole country. UK doesn't even come close to the Rowdy Reptiles.

Seems I heard "Go Big Blue" chants several times during the game.

Losing 10 in a row has way of bringing out a mans rage, I understand!
