I would love to see what Oregon could do with regular top 10 classes like A&M. Hopefully Chavis can fix the problems down there on defense.

this is the first time weve had a run of top 10 classes since like the early to mid 90s

Yeah, a lot of that talent is really young. Chavis has a lot of raw material to work with.
Oregon may not be top 10 but in terms of talent but in terms of sheer size it may be the biggest. I think we are tired of being told were soft and undersized.

A&M's defensive talent is mostly all on the DL, not so great at LB or DB.

Most seem reasonable. I am excited about this class. First time to follow recruiting and I find it fascinating how people can extrapolate so much from 250 characters or less.

Is that because it's underdeveloped or the raw material isn't that great? I can't imagine that the raw material is at worst above average.

Depending on how we finish this class we could have quite a bit of talent at DB lined up as well.
We are pretty set at safety with Donovan Wilson and Armani Watts from the last class looking good as true freshmen plus adding Larry Pryor, Justin Dunning and Justin Evans in this class. If we can add Holton Hill and Kris Boyd to Elam and Capers Smith at CB we should have a good start to depth there
LB depth is an issue, but Josh Walker and Otaro Alaka looked good as true freshmen. Missing on Jefferson really hurts

He's completely wrong.
Kyler Murray: A&M
Damarkus Lodge: Ole Miss
Daylon Mack: A&M or TCU
Kris Boyd: A&M
Holton Hill: A&M
Soso Jamabo: UCLA
Chris Warren: already decommitted from Texas
Plus a surprise commit for A&M: Either Kendall Sheffield, Kendall Bussey, or Ricky DeBerry
Boy, You are the one wrong !

I was just thinking that for all the talk about how the SEC dominates on the lines, the one unit that Oregon can't seem to put together is LB. Ohio State's LBs were just on a different level than ours. Getting a 235-250 athlete that cover ground, takes on blocks, and doesn't miss tackles in space is a premium in this day and age of football. You can find big bodies and develop them and get skill guys for a secondary but putting together a second level with 2/3* is almost impossible.
The only coach that I can think of is Snyder at KSU.

The Boyd's have been trolling A&M hard. If you look at Demarco's photos from last weekend he's got the Hook 'Em Horns sign in everyone of them. Boyd and Hill will be Horns on Friday to be joined by Soso, Warren(who hasn't committed anywhere). From there Texas will either run the table of Murray/Mack/Lodge or probably get none. Of course Locksley and Reed are consolation prizes at QB and WR.

Remember when you had like 46 yards of total offense in your bowl game

His projections were thoughtful but overall were pretty lazy regarding what schools are going to close with.

Interesting to see where Mizzou finishes with Beckner
