I was wrong about O. I told all the State fans in some thread awhile ago that he wasn't going to be their next D-Coordinator. I was right about that, but I was thinking he was going to hold out for a head coaching job somewhere small or a coordinator position at a big brand-name school.
State DC job is better than the LSU DL job of course, but that dirty cajun has his wife and kids in Louisiana and that's where his roots are so I can't blame him. He also played at LSU for a year I'm pretty sure.

I was surprised too. I think his biological coaching clock is ticking though so he wanted to jump back in and not have to move. I'm kind of surprised he couldn't find a dc position under a hc w/ defensive background to build back his resume. I think his OM hc tenure is still scaring people.
