I actually agree with Fbaum... 44 vs. Auburn and 42 (35) vs. OSU...

I would like to hear Riseupfromtherubble's thoughts on him, since Will Muschamp is so overrated.

Well it's never been really high because everyone knows Saban controls the defense.

You sure are taking this loss hard Larry. It is a game and shouldn't make you feel this bad. Since you've killed your father multiple times, he is looking down right now and is very worried about your well being.

It's Sabans defense. Everyone with a brain knows that.

Wait, it was a rebuilding year. You get a safety net cause of it.

For me a guy like Smart is hard to evaluate as is any asst. who coaches under a HOF level coach. Is he a really good coach or just an extension of Saban. A good example is Charlie Weiss. His career went south as soon as be left NE.

Considering the consecutive string of #1 classes. Bama's defense looks awful.

Just goes to show how a quick scoring offense wears out a traditional defense, especially those big ole boys in the 3-4.

Well, Alabama's defense certainly had some major issues this year, particularly in the secondary.

There were flashes of the defenses of old but it's clear there was a major step back.

Kirby should have left 2-3 years ago to separate himself from Saban.. He thought too highly of himself and now he may be a lifetime assistant. He should look for a HC position at a smaller program or become the. DC at another big time program.
