I'm sure he's gonna get paid in the NFL, but I enjoy the mediocrity he's endured at fricking Maryland. Tonight's game is icing on the cake.

ETA: Can you imagine a WR corp of Diggs, Williams, and Coates this year? fricking unbelievable.

IIRC, his final three was made up of Auburn, Florida and Maryland. Seemed like an easy pick at the time, and in hindsight it also seems like an easy pick (Auburn, I mean).

I can't hold a grudge, though.

Isn't he the kid from Maryland that wanted to play for his in-State school?

Yes. He's a big fish in a small pond. Probably a massive celebrity on campus who gets whatever he wants. Probably ideal situation for him.

I've actually enjoyed watching him play when I've had the chance. He's one of the few that didn't pick auburn I've really kept up with. Kid is a baller who wanted to stay near home. Cant blame him. Been one of my favorite players since I watched his HS tape. I think he's gonna be the next desean Jackson in the NFL.

Lets recap Stefon Diggs career

-Superstar at hometown school for friends and family

-Team leader in receiving despite missing 25% of the season

-2nd All Time Maryland receiving after only 3 years

- Likely high draft pick

Sounds like he made the right decision

Your OP sounds bitter.

I'm happy the kid has become a star at his home state school. He's earned his respect and hope he gets drafted by a team that'll use him in the kick return game

He probably made the better decision by potentially not getting buried in the depth chart/getting more reps. He didn't spurn us like a lot of the shitheads that signed with Bama that have never taken a meaningful snap.
