Question about the Playoffs and our Bowl Records

We've got the bowl wins and bowl appearance records, my question is will the semi final games count as bowl games, or just the title game? Basically, could we add two wins/appearances to our bowl record if we win out?

It'd be strange for it to count as two bowl wins or 1 win ad 1 loss.

FCS sets them aside as playoff game wins, though it's a little different. Only 1 extra instead several like FCS has.
Really unprecedented, interesting to see how they judge it. To say only the last counts as a bowl, you're saying the 2 losers of the semifinal games didn't have a bowl appearance that year. Even if they lost, they still should get the recognition and perks for their work.
Best guess would be it counts as 2 bowl appearances, since they are in uncharted territory anyway.

Yeah it was my understanding that the playoff games are still also considered bowl games. SO assuming Alabama plays in Pasadena and wins, they will get credited with a Rose Bowl victory.
