Nothing will erase that memory. 2010 was worse than last year, and the subsequent 2011 beating didn't erase that memory.

That ending will forever be burned into my mind.

No, its going to take a streak. AU is used to getting blown out by us every few years.

If we ever get up like that on a rival again and Saban takes a knee inside the 20...ugh.
Take your mercy knees against Georgia State.
Never take one against Auburn. We hate them. We're not trying to make friends with them.
Same with our players helping theirs up or vice versa.
Don't do that shite.

I was there and it still doesn't bother me.

Would beating FSU I'm the national championship do it?

If we win out and beat Auburn by a point, then we will get in the playoff and they won't. That'll do it for me. Plus if we were to get to the championship and beat FSU that would really chap their hides! LOL

The only remedy for that would be Bama kicking a field-goal with the game tied and one second left, then Auburn bringing it out of the end-zone, a Bama player forcing the fumble and Reuben Foster running it in for the game-winning touchdown.

That would be epic

Nice handle, dude. I remember the first time I listened to that mixtape. It was awesome, and I remembered thinking he was going to be huge. A year later everyone knew who he was.

35-0 and a streak of about 9 after Punt Bama Punt helped a little, but 42 years have come and gone and I am still not over it. The only good thing is at my age, I shouldn't have to think about "got a second" for 42 years.

They bred and trained this team all offseason on stopping AU's offense.

Already over it, that same day. The game was lost on the TD before.

It really won't ever bother me. We have 15 titles (arguably more) and are the most dominant program of all time with the 2 most dominating coaches to ever coach. We have everyone outside of Auburns respect and that is what I expect. No one respects them so who gives a frick what they think. It is all about the years of work as a total, not every blue moon fluke years. Anyone who thinks like that is a person who has high highs and really low lows.
