Requesting Dactyl's expertise please.

Did a credit report check this afternoon since I've not checked it in a long time. I've not had any true need to, I don't plan on buying a home anytime in the foreseeable future, typically pay cash for my vehicles, have a credit card that I don't ever really use since I don't travel anywhere as often as I used to. I just chill out and save up money.

Looks like someone in SW Little Rock bought a home using my identity. (My best guess is one of the democrats that got an Affirmative Action job with the state passed my SS# and info along to a friend after I had to call around to get some records sent to me while I was living out of state)

Can I go rush in there with shotguns and dogs and claim my crackhouse?

I've initiated a dispute but I don't see that helping me much. Anyone have any experience with this sort of craziness.

Duddde that sucks. I would imagine you can call up the sheriff's office or something? Mortgage lender? Good luck.

Give it a week and wait until someone tries to rob a bank. It'll happen. While the police are occupied, go in guns blazing and claim your shite.

I'd help, but I live in the Heights now and I don't want to scare the neighbors with my war paint.

Bring in the law right away and let the legal process drop the hammer on them. Also you might want to start contacting credit agencies and letting them know what you think happened so your credit rating doesn't get tanked.

If only they had stolen my ID. My credit rating is so bad having crack dealers steal it would be an improvement.

You probably would need to call the Little Rock Police Department (501-371-4605) to make a report. Then once the report is made and you have a report or incident number I would recommend following up by calling the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney's Office to speak with the Citizen Complaints Department (501-340-8100) to see what the next step should be. They will most likely want to meet with you and/or obtain further information from you.

Venue for a criminal prosecution can also be in the county in which you reside (see link below) so you could pursue these same avenues in the county in which you reside (assuming you reside in Arkansas). If you live in Oklahoma you would probably want to go through these same steps there.

In recent history there has been quite a bit of legislation addressing financial identity fraud since it is a growing problem. LINK An investigation will need to be done but if you follow what is outlined above that should get things moving.

Maybe I'll become a Wastelander and just squat in this surely run down trashy democrat neighborhood and bitch about all the games moving to that chicken coop in the hills.
