I am still numb...a voice told me not to drink last night and Im glad I listened because it was easier to witness this behind the woodshed beatdown while sober.

1) Mizzou had the perfect storm..kickoff return and then fumble recovery and before you could warm your seat it was 14-0 and we were taken out of our gameplan.
2) Our OL is a disaster of a unit...no pride and no fight. Driskel gets the blame sandwich to eat by himself by most folks...but there was a LOT of sharing of that sandwich in my eyes.
3) RBs position is a cluster right now...Im afraid we need to get new talent forthwith that can block and run. I watch as # 24 ole'd a pass rusher twice to get his qb killed and the fumble was just as much his fault as JDs. Our RBs do not break nearly enough tackles and lack the killer instinct we need at the position.
4) WRs how do I start? Right now as a unit we lack of talent and the desire to make plays. They have gotten worse and we have an inexperienced WR coach, which isn't anyones fault since Phillips quit at a time when all coaching staffs were settled. We do not get separation or proper route running...its horrible.
5) QBs where do I start? Driskel has been subjected to so much abuse and some of it has been self inflicted of course. He rarely forces throws off his back feet but did last night twice and one was picked off. If anyone thinks Treon is a savior they are mistaken...he does bring a quicker delivery and some escape ability to the table. Remember that he made bad mistakes too and when he came in late...the game was well out of reach and Mizzou played prevent defense and that gave him more time to scan the field and also be able to run more. If he had started the game he might have been carted off the field.
He will be the QB moving forward and Thank God for the bye week. Remember he is a true frosh and had about 1/50 of the playbook given to him to learn.

The coaching: Roper has sold us a bill of goods I think. I see no imagination, no fire and we could have kept Pease and done no worse and maybe better. OL coach Summers had better get his troups ready to play. Im afraid he is an older coach & that job security isn't a concern anymore...just a guess.

The defense played balls out.

The buck stops at the HC and he knows it. Can this shitshow go on or can anything be done to turn it around? Beat UGA would ease my suffering a lot.

This is a blow it up and start all over situation I'm afraid. Folks say we have talent all over the field and that's clearly false. We have one WR that is productive, no QB, no TE, no OL that even MSU or OM would want, head cases for kickers, poor ST play and mad fans.

Boom is done. I'm on board with his departure tomorrow morning.

The problem is, I have no idea who I want to coach at UF now. I wish Kerwin would have taken a different route. I think we need someone that actually loves UF and not some reformed UG mutt.

Definitely wrong Road...Boom wanted to be a Gator and remember he suffered broken leg as sr in high school...no Div 1 schools offered him a scholly...Spurrier was too busy playing golf to interview Boom and he walked on at UGA. He grew up a huge Gator fan....so you are off base there my friend.

The team is a fricking embarrassment to the program, and the whole thing is a fricking disaster right now. Recruiting is going to implode - this will be the worst recruiting cycle for the gators in many many years.

Muschamp DID NOT have that team ready to play. AT ALL.

Blame the OC all you want, but when you've had 3 OC's that have all sucked, WHOSE FAULT IS THAT!!!

Slay...wrong....he did have the defense ready to play....but obviously we shite the bed otherwise, the lack of effort to me is really on the OL.

These are college students...not NFL players and sacrifice a lot blood sweat and tears on the practice field...we didn't lose because of overall lack of effort...but because of inept coaching on offense and lack of talent at several positions on offense.

I still think the majority of the issue is QB play. It is beyond horrendous.

Hopefully Treon and Grier will change things, as Driskel is shell shocked and doesn't have the "it" factor to lead the team. Grier was a very good QB in high school that threw the ball.
