At Auburn, he coached four linemen - Wayne Gandy, Willie Anderson, Victor Riley and Kendall Simmons - who were selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

He is a good coach. From people who played for him, I heard he is as big an a-hole as there is.

He was the OL Coach with Fisher(the OC) when Terry Bowden was HC.

That's what I remember. He was DC's QB coach as well. Was he not officially our OC?
I remember a lot of our OL going down with injuries in 97-98 and blaming RT at the time.

I thought it was Rodney Allison.

From Wikipedia

"Fisher played a season in the Arena Football League in 1988 for the Chicago Bruisers, then rejoined Terry Bowden at Samford as a graduate assistant coach working with quarterbacks from 1988–1990. He was subsequently hired as the full-time offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. After two seasons Fisher moved with Bowden to Auburn University where he coached quarterbacks alongside Terry Bowden."

sorry, I thought he was OC.

Jimbo was QB coach. When Bowden had his temper tantrum halfway through the cluster that was the '98 season, Oliver turned over all playcalling responsibilities to Jimbo. If memory serves he fired Allison during the chaos that ensued.

Oh, and frick all y'all for making me dredge up those recollections.

ETA: As for P. Rick Trickett, I wish him a speedy recovery. That said, from what I understand players had more respect and genuine affection for Tim Jackson than him.
